Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is getting ready to launch her next movie Shakuntalam, she opened up about her health. The actress, who was diagnosed with polymyositis last year, in an interview, talked about tough times and how her work helped her fight back. Talking to pinkvillaThe actress said, “Yeah, it’s very slow and very hard. But I think my work centers and grounds me. The only thing I’ve been fighting so hard to get back into is my work.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has taken a break from acting to focus on her health, thanked the producers, directors, cast and crew members of her projects for patiently awaiting her return. “I am so grateful to all the producers and directors who understood what I was going through, who patiently waited for my return, and who are now patiently on the sets.”
Opening up about tough times, Samantha Ruth Prabhu said, “No day is the same. Every day is different. There are highs, there are lows, and there are really bad lows. Well, I thought I had already had a very difficult period. So I thought I learned everything you have to teach me.” In life and I thought I had slept enough. But these eight months have shown me a lot of grounding and who I am as a person, and what mental strength really is.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back in action and is currently busy promoting her movie Shakuntalam. Also, she is shooting the next Hindi part of her web series fort, Co-starring Varun Dhawan.
