The Reds beat the Pirates on home runs by Fraley, Newman and India

CINCINNATI (AP) — Jake Fraley hit a three-run homer, Kevin Newman added two runs against his former team and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 on Saturday.

Lodolo (1-0) needed 109 pitches to go five innings. The Pirates had seven hits and two runs scored against the lefty, who is in his second year in the majors and finished with nine strikeouts and two walks.

The loser was Rich Hill (0-1).
