The three men accused of attacking rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine were arrested at a gym in Florida last week.
Three men were arrested Thursday in connection with the programme Brutal beating Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in a gym bathroom in Florida last week.
The trio of suspects — Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Anthony Maldonado, 25, and Octavius Medina, 23 — have been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of robbery and assault, WPTV reported.
They were picked up by detectives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, according to the outlet.
6ix9ine, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, jumped last Tuesday inside LA Fitness in South Florida. Part of the attack went viral after it was posted online by OnlyInDade.
The 26-year-old rapper did not have security with him at the time of the attack, which left him with a bloodied face and injuries to his jaw, ribs and back.
The police and EMS were called and the rapper was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
His alleged attackers are scheduled to appear in court on Friday, according to WPTV.
