Simmons, who hasn’t posted a direct message from himself on Facebook in years, broke that line on Wednesday, saying, “Thank you all for your kindness and love! Love, Richard.”

We were told that Richard watched the special and was very moved by the reaction of thousands of his fans who sent their best wishes.
While Richard’s official Facebook account regularly posts old clips and workout videos – you usually get a few hundred comments – it’s clear that Richard’s direct note has impressed fans, with nearly 5,000 comments in less than 48 hours.
Many fans’ comments included photos of them with the coaching guru over the years with words of love and encouragement, with many emphasizing the importance of him taking time for himself.
