Megyn Kelly had little sympathy for her former classmate Savannah Guthrie, who She had to quit her co-hosting duties on NBC’s “TODAY” show on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19 during the morning broadcast.

Kelly expected “TODAY” weatherman Al Roker to appear on the air with a protective mask over his face.
“I got dollars for donuts [Al] Rucker is in there with his N95 tomorrow all day laying…” she jokes.

Guthrie’s departure in the middle of the broadcast of “TODAY” came amid widespread concern among viewers of co-host Hoda Kotb, who had been absent for several days without explanation.
