Where lies the answer?
They say we gained the Indian Independence through the mantra of ‘AHIMSA’. How far is it true?
I totally deny this, because the repercussion between India and looters (BRITISH) began soon as the invaders had stepped into our holy soil. We had secured a status of slaves in our own land. Our people, our resources, our riches were let to be exploited. I admit that it was our own fault, lack of unity as you call it! And I am grateful to the British for many things in Modern India as well!
But my question is,why has history forgotten leaders like BHAGATH SINGH! CHANDRASHEKHAR AZAAD! SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE! And so many people, millions and millions of people who bathed Mother India with their blood? Why is that Gandhiji is stated as the father as the Nation?
Why is that Nehru who for his selfish needs had done so many things given so much privelage that his b’day is now celebrated as Children’s Day? Does he even deserve it?
Gandhi was the face of the movement, nothing happened to him until the Independence because he had all security, but about those behind the curtains? So many were brutally killed!
What do you think,Independence was got only by the Coffee table chat? Was it got just by the work of paper and pen,NO!!
Why has History been so unfair?
Why does the Indian currency hold only the portrait of Gadhi?
Why aren’t the ones who actually sacrificed their flesh and soul for the country REMEMBERED?????
Answers anyone?

To be fair to all of them as a whole, politics. Republic of India as a nation was founded on the roots of corruption, with its first step being, Gandhi choosing Nehru, not Jinnah or even someone neutral. Every important man in that time was doing it for their own selfish reasons, other than the ones who believed in it so much, that they had died in the heart of their belief. Truth be told, we haven’t escaped the Raj, we’re just living under the Brown Sahibs of the New East India Co. Let’s hope we get out of that soon enough…
And, have you ever thought about the circumstances the British were in?
WWII (for crying out loud), devastation in Europe, then the whole India chakkar. So, when Gandhi put pressure in the right place at the right time, what choice did they have?
History hasn’t been unfair, sir, people have.
