One of India’s largest Christmas cribs was made by students of Dharmaram College in Bangalore. Spreading across 5700 square feet, the crib is made in the shape of Mullaperiyar dam, the dam of contention between the south Indian states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
The dam is rightly titled ‘Reservoir of Love.’ The crib intends to spread the message of love which is indeed the message of Christmas, in midst of rising hatred between two states.

The christmas crib doesn’t end with huge structure of dam. The adventurous expedition through the underground tunnel will reveal the constant expressions of God’s love at specific moments in history epitomized in the birth of Jesus.
The first sight as you travel along the tunnel is the sight of creation, depicted on the wall:

As you move along the tunnel next comes the scene of God giving the commandments of Moses, accompanied by thunder, lighting and rain:

Next comes the scene of prophet Ezekial preaching to the lifeless valley of bones which breathed life into them and a vast multitude stood on their feet.

Halfway through, you will see the heart of the crib depicting the birth of Jesus is set beautifully in fluroscent light, the beauty of which cameras are unable to capture to the fullest.
