As India is fast developing as the third biggest economic power in the world behind the United States and China pushing Japan to the fourth position, its high time for we Indians to think about the future of our country and its citizens. We always hear the news of global players speaking about our country and they expanding to our country. Now India is a country with many multi billionaires capable of spending any amount of money and even charting private jets for their travels.So our country have developed in every walks of life and even to a supreme power whom every others listen to, in case of emergencies.
But as every other developing nation, India also faces the big challenge of the development of its rural areas and common man,who still struggles to make a living. Though our central govt. states that a person who spent Rs.32 in an urban area and Rs.26 in rural areas a day is above poverty line, the fact that most of the common man still find it difficult to make a living in the country. The main reason for the under development of rural India is the lack of proper education,infrastructure and growing corruption in all levels of administration of the country. All the news coming from the country signs low economic growth, growing corruption etc which is going adversely affect the nation in its future journey.
One of the main reason for this is the growing corruption in the country.All days various news about corruption is flashing in medias.All those who are involved in these cases are ministers of various state and central govt. or other higher govt officials. There has been cases in India in recent past in which supreme court chief justice and his relatives where involved. All these indicates growing corruption in India. The recent 2G scam and mining scam in karnataka indicates how serious these matters are. In all these we can see that the wealth in the country is being getting concentrated to the rich and the common man still remains the poor.
Another serious issue which affect the laymen of the country is the increasing price rise in the country. With the inflation figures shooting to 2 digit, the prices of all elementary goods including FMCGs are soaring. And to aid these the prices of petroleum product are hiked day by day by the petroleum companies sighting their profit figures.Earlier the govt. who had control over the prices now lost the powers to regulate the prices of the petrol and diesel. The reason for the recent price hike was the loss of profit of the companies due to decreasing price of Indian rupees compared to dollar. Another major decision yet to come from the govt. is the decision regarding limiting the no. of subsidized LPG cylinders. All these strategic decisions are going to affect the common man in the country and the UPA govt will face a tough time in the coming general elections.
BJP have already started there preparation for highlighting there prime minister candidate. Mr Narendra Modi, the present chief minister of Gujrat is all set to become the next prime minister candidate of BJP even pushing their national leader Mr. LK Advani. As every one knows Mr. Modi is one of the prime accused in Gujrat riots cases and there are even cases against him in supreme court of the country. In order to over come these ,we have witnessed Modi conducting a luxurious fasting gimmick in ahmedabad spending almost a crore of rupees and pulling all the national and international medias attention to Ahmedabad.Even the Americans have predicted Modi as the future Prime Minister of the country. But its high time for the Indians to think about this matter that a religious fanatic like Modi should be sworn to the supreme power of a democratic country like India.
As the world is witnessing another slowdown and the IMF predicting that another 4.5 crore of people across the world will be pushed to poverty, its high time for the govt of our country to act accordingly. Our govt should take actions to take care of price hike. Though its expected to have a lower GDP growth of 7.8% compared to that of the predicted 8.2%, only proper steps taken by the govt can tackle the problem and lead country back to the path of development. It’s also expected to have lesser foreign investment flowing in to the country in coming years ,the govt has to find out other ways to constantly maintain the GDP growth.While all these measures are to be taken,it should again be kept in mind that the comman man should find his living and its them who are going to bring the govt back to power again in 2014. So the congress party and the UPA should take care of the people and next prime minister candidate of congress party ,Mr Rahul Gandhi should actively involve in the process of nation building.Focus should be given in bringing popular reforms which is going to enhance the growth of the nation and lower the burden on the people. It should always be kept in mind that the supreme power in a democratic country like that of India is people and people only…
